DPR government: as long as punitive forces continue fighting, there can be no ceasefire

In connection with incoming requests from the media to provide specific conditions for a ceasefire, the possibility of which was mentioned by the head of the DPR government, Alexander Zakharchenko, in his statement yesterday, the Ministry of Information Policy of the DPR provides a detailed explanation:

The DPR government constantly says that we are ready for a temporary ceasefire in order to stop the killing of civilians and the destruction of infrastructure.

This was discussed in May, when it was necessary to pick up the bodies at the airport. We agreed on this in June with Avakov in order to open a humanitarian corridor to Slavyansk. This was discussed in July, when a humanitarian zone was needed to organize an investigation into the Boeing crash.
However, the Ukrainian side in all these cases continued and continues military operations. Even international experts came under fire.

Since the Ukrainian side is absolutely incapable of negotiating, as practice shows, talking about the terms of the ceasefire is pointless.

At the same time, it is obvious that the main condition for a ceasefire is a similar measure on the part of the Ukrainian army. A ceasefire can only be mutual. However, despite calls from the international community, Kyiv continues the punitive operation. Informal consultations with the participation of the OSCE are inconclusive, but the DPR government is ready to continue them.

It is necessary to especially emphasize and clearly define the position of the republic:

We are always ready to agree on a mutual temporary ceasefire. Precisely in order to prevent the expansion of the humanitarian catastrophe that has already occurred in Donbass

Mandatory conditions for the start of the negotiation process on any settlement are: the complete withdrawal of the Ukrainian army from the territory of the DPR and the participation of officials from the Ukrainian side in the negotiations

We kindly ask you not to confuse a temporary ceasefire with negotiations. In the past, there were only informal consultations with a contact group that did not have official authority, and the ceasefire agreement reached was not implemented by the Ukrainian side. But there were no negotiations

As long as the Ukrainian army continues fighting, there can be no ceasefire. The Republic will fight. And we are confident of victory over the invaders.

Correspondent's message A. Krasnoshchekova

“There is a fire in the Kiev district of Donetsk, not far from yesterday’s destruction on Buslaeva Street. The roar of explosions can be heard on Universitetskaya Street.
We just visited one of the best maternity hospitals in Donbass in the center of Donetsk. There are holes from shrapnel in the windows and inside the rooms, 3 children have already been born in the basement.
We are driving through Donetsk and hear the whistling of shells and explosions. They cannot be confused with volleys. For the first time, several locations in the central part of the city were shelled in the middle of the day.
Journalists are confusedly discussing incidents in several areas at once. Including European and American reporters, they travel to shelling zones, risking their lives.
Important: no one is firing at the center of Donetsk with Grads. Presumably howitzers are working. Volleys are inconsistent. There is no panic, transport is functioning."

"Herald of the Militia". Reports from the front

Yesterday the main battles took place over N. n. Krasny Luch and Anthracite. Krasny Luch changed hands several times a day, but by the end of the day most of the settlement came under the control of the militia.
In addition, the enemy attacked Ilovaisk and Stepano-Krynka yesterday.
The enemy occupied N. yesterday. p. Dyakovo.
Gorlovka, Enakievo, Uglegorsk are holding the defense.
An exchange of prisoners was planned in Ilovaisk yesterday. The militia commanders warned the Ukrainian side that prisoners should be treated in accordance with the Geneva Convention, as the militias do, and that if the Ukrainian side does not adhere to this convention, the militia will take appropriate measures. However, instead of an agreement on the exchange of prisoners, 3 attacks by punitive troops were organized on Ilovaisk, which were all repulsed.
Currently, the battle for Ilovaisk continues. In the city there are shells hitting residential buildings, fires, people hiding in basements.
The enemy has been shelling Donetsk since 4 am today. The shelling of the city has not stopped to this day.
The DPR continues to recruit volunteers for the militia. People see that the enemy has come to their home and join the ranks of the militia. Registration of volunteers for the DPR Army is carried out by phone. 095-431-48-63.
Today the miraculous icon of the Mother of God “Seven Arrows” was brought to Donetsk, before which a prayer service was served in the morning, which was attended by the militia led by the Minister of Defense of the DPR I. I. Strelkov.

CyberBerkut opposes the fratricidal war in Ukraine and continues to publish data on the losses of punitive forces, carefully hidden by the Kyiv junta.

CyberBerkut continues to be located within the information resources of the Dnepropetrovsk zonal department of the military law enforcement service. Replacing Colonel V.M. Pushenko with Colonel A.V. Petrushevsky did not help the junta in any way. The “defenders” of Ukraine are still completely demoralized. A lack of understanding of the purpose of one’s stay in a combat zone, constant fear for one’s life and the threat of an environment from which the command will not help one get out, exhaust soldiers morally. They continue to die, get injured and flee, abandoning military equipment and...

CyberBerkut publishes documents of Colonel A.V. Petrushevsky, which the punisher prepares daily for the prosecutor’s office. http://cyber-berkut.org/.

UkroSMI journalists continue to hide the truth from the people of Ukraine and thereby contribute to the senseless massacre in Donbass. Today CyberBerkut publishes a number of facts that are hidden in every possible way from the mothers of Ukrainian soldiers (documents of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with data on wounded and dead soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces). Losses in military equipment continue to increase.
During the period from July 21 to August 5, 2014, punitive forces “gave” the militias: tanks – 22 units; infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) – 26 units; armored personnel carriers (APC) – 17 units; self-propelled artillery units (SAU) 2S9 "NONA" - 4 units; Self-propelled gun 2S1 “Gvozdika” – 4 units; multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) BM-21 "Grad" - 12 units; howitzers D-30 – 5 units; mortars of 82 mm caliber – 10 units; anti-aircraft guns ZU-23-2 – 13 units; automobile tractors (AT) – 75 units.

CyberBerkut demands an end to the fratricidal war and calls on those officers and soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who are still alive today and not maimed to think about their future, about their mothers, wives and children, and lay down their arms. Don't expect to be replaced on the front lines. The mobilization that Poroshenko announced has already been disrupted, but you won’t know it from him.
Remember, the commanders who give you criminal orders do not kill anyone themselves. You become killers when you carry out these orders. If you stop killing, the war will end and you will return home. You yourself can return peace to Ukraine.

Report from the headquarters of the DPR Ministry of Defense as of 15.00, August 10

Fierce battles for the city of Krasny Luch continue. The city is held by the militia, but Ukrainian troops are shelling the city - the 17th mine, the city center, Gagarin Street.

With Miusinsk it’s a little more complicated. There is no militia in the southern part of the city, but this is due to the specifics of the city - it is located in a hole, and everyone entering from the south is perfectly shot from the waste heaps to the north. Shelling of Gorlovka and Yenakievo continues - now from Dzerzhinsk.

There are still no large units in Panteleimonovka, so it is too early to talk about encircling the Gorlovka group with punitive forces, although there were battles in the Krasny Partizan area during the day. On Saturday, August 9, at about 17:30, punitive forces resumed shelling of the DPR capital. This time the village of Zhilkoop in the Kirovsky district of the city came under fire. The hits of shells fired from the Grad launcher caused destruction in the private sector along Chistopolskaya and Lermontov streets. Along Saur-Mogila: 25th brigade of Ukrainian troops near the height. No one goes to the top, since it is constantly being shelled from Grad missiles. From Snizhne, militia fighters are launching intensive Grad strikes against Ukrainian troops in that area, as well as those located in the Krasny Luch area. Mobile militia units are also firing at this group.

In the evening, punitive positions in Lugutino were fired upon again. Veselaya Tarasovka and Stukalova Balka were also shelled, artillery fire hit the rear units in the village of Zheltoye, and 2 checkpoints near Debaltsevo were hit with mortar fire.

The DPR militia repelled an attack by Ukrainian punitive forces on Ilovaisk, a city 35 kilometers east of Donetsk. The DPR army destroyed nine armored vehicles. At the moment, clashes continue near the city of Mospino, as well as in Krasny Luch, 120 kilometers east of Donetsk.

Since 4 a.m. on August 10, Ukrainian troops have continued intensified shelling of the suburbs of Donetsk, as well as the Kyiv and Kuibyshev districts of the capital.

Report from militiaman Prokhorov

“There are 10 minutes left before sunset, when the Ukrainians traditionally stop offensive operations, so we can sum up some results of the day.

From 5 a.m. Donetsk was shelled from an artillery. The enemy, after recent losses, clearly cannot accumulate sufficient forces to storm not only Donetsk, but also to clear Marinka.
The Shakhtersk mercenary battalion was transferred to Avdeevka to reinforce units of the Ukrainian army and national guard, which are constantly under fire from the defenders of Donetsk. Another task of the Shakhtersk mercenaries is to clear the territory of Avdiivka from unreliable elements, militia gunners and support the morale of Ukrainian troops under fire. Support is revealed in the transfer by officers of the National Guard and ZSU of soldiers who have shown cowardice or “pacifism” to the criminals of the punitive battalion for “education.”
In the town, the already unfavorable situation due to the looting of the Ukrainian army after the arrival of the criminals worsened even more.

In the Peski area, detachments of the so-called. “The Right Sector volunteer corps suffered significant losses from militia fire (a dozen and a half were recognized as dead), the unit was withdrawn to Gornyak to replenish and support morale. Raising morale is carried out with the help of powerful antidepressants.
Units of the Dnepr-1 battalion have not yet participated in active hostilities (they are located in the rear of the 93rd mechanized, which is storming Marinka).

A company tactical group of the “Donbass” battalion was transferred to the south of Donetsk to reinforce the “Azov” battalion that had suffered losses (base - the village of Novy Svet). By the way, the attack on Ilovaisk by the Azov battalion, despite their assurances, was supported by Ukrainian troops, but due to low radio discipline, all their movements were known to the militia, which led to the defeat of the battalion. Now Ilovaisk is being strengthened, reinforcements are coming there.

In the South (Sadovoye-Torez-Snezhnoye region) the largest and most diverse Ukrainian group operates - these are the 25th airmobile, 24th mechanized (remnants), 51st mechanized brigade, 26th artillery brigade and other parts of the ZSU. The Krivbass mercenary battalion was transferred there (known for the execution of volunteers who took people out of the battle zone).
Mobile militia groups continue to launch short but fierce mortar attacks on enemy positions, especially in the Krasny Luch area, and also fire mortars at the rear of the above group. Although the jihad mobiles fail to inflict significant damage on them, these swarm attacks sufficiently tore apart the enemy, and he stopped the offensive in the Krasnyi Luch area
The defense was aggravated by the actual surrender of Ivanovka, the transport hub between Krasny Luch and Lugansk. The banal one was repeated - the city was not prepared for defense and the small garrison did not even build a frail checkpoint. The defenders of the city retreated after fighting in the birch grove at the entrance to the city. But units of the 25th brigade also did not gain a foothold in the city, which makes it possible to knock them out or encircle them.

In the North, the defense of Gorlovka and Pervomaisk continues.

Gorlovka has been shelled today since 4 am by the valiant Cossacks from the 55th artillery brigade. All attempts of the Artemovsk mercenary battalion to attack the city were unsuccessful. Bes’s troops also cleared the “road of life” to Donetsk from ukrov, causing significant damage to the enemy.

Pervomaisk is also holding out - it is only being shelled; the Donbass battalion, after sending a significant part of its personnel and weapons to Ilovaisk, does not take active offensive actions. And this is despite the transfer of reinforcements to them in the form of a battalion of Chernigov mercenaries operating to the east.

The 80th Airmobile and the Aidar battalion did not show much activity in the Lugansk area. Again, everything is being destroyed with artillery. All this was aggravated by the destruction of their headquarters in the building of the gymnasium in Lutugino.

21:20 (Moscow time) Snizhne and Torez are being shelled again. At Saur-Mogila, according to interceptions, the Ukrainians have run out of food - tomorrow there will be a convoy, they reported that they came under fire at the height several times.

By the way, the details of today's battle for Ilovaisk are becoming known.
In addition to the Azov battalion, the Shakhtersk battalion company also took part in it - it was just reinforced by an infantry fighting vehicle transferred to the ZSU. During the battle, a machine gunner or sniper managed to jam the gun on the BMP, and the machine gunners began to cover the company from the flanks. The Shakhtersk mercenaries retreated, thereby opening up the Azov positions, which the militia took full advantage of
But even the flight from the battlefield did not pass without a trace for the mercenaries - officially they had 4 wounded (1 seriously). Knowing that, due to the specifics of the contingent, only those who signed the contract are counted as losses, so the losses can be multiplied by 10, but no one has ever counted the criminals.”

Message from journalists

“Partisans of the Kharkov region defeated an enemy convoy and captured a vehicle of American ATGMs.

In the Izyum region of the Kharkov People's Republic, temporarily occupied by the troops of the Kiev junta, a supply column was destroyed, which was carrying ammunition for the 1st separate tank brigade stationed in the city of Izyum, redeployed there from the Chernigov region. Four trucks with ammunition went up in the air. The fifth truck turned out to be filled not with tank shells, but with American FGM-148 Javelin ATGMs.
Most likely, the Javelins were brought to Kharkov by American military transport aircraft, which have been frequenting there in the last few nights."

Message from a militia about Saur-Mogila

“In essence, Saur-Mogila did its job. It did not allow dill to be rescued from the cauldron, controlling the narrow passage between it and the border.
And, indeed, as soon as the cauldron was liquidated, they began to repeat the Slavyansk scenario.
Now Saur-Mogila is the second series called “We won’t give up Slavyansk, we’ll all die there.” crests climb to heights with enthusiasm, perhaps they will even take it. But what will this give besides the victorious reports of cultural propaganda and the next hysteria of our liberal media?
Only that now it will be possible to close the new bag again further south, and, without hurrying anywhere, smoke out the crests who crawled into the trap with artillery. The difference between the militias being there was that the militias had a place to get food and reinforcements from.
And if returnees from Russia from 1979 are sent there, then in the new bag the morale there will be simply “awesome.”
While ours are holding the height to the last, luring as many hohlolemmings as possible to it."

Message from militias from Snezhnoye

“Near Snezhny, a commander with the call sign “Cherny” and his soldiers captured a tank and almost two dozen machine guns.

We chased this tank across the field like a hare. Yes, and I wanted to take the machine guns. We have old Kalash, but these have brand new weapons, everything is shiny. At first they wanted to surround us. There were about 40 of them, two armored personnel carriers and a tank. And we are 18 people, we have machine guns and two “flies”. They could not surround us, we fought back. We had one “200”, it was torn into pieces by a machine gun. One of them also died, they couldn’t take him away, they retreated, and so we retreated. Let's see - this one is equipped like Rimbaud. A new machine gun, grenades, PM, armored vehicle, helmet, knee pads, well, he has everything with him. I tell the guys - in short, let's start the hunt. I'm tired of it already, no normal weapons, nothing. If they don’t give it out, we’ll take it ourselves.

Well, we went around on both sides. And the Ukrainians stood up in two groups, two battalion fighters, and 100 meters later a tank. They set up a weak patrol, and most of them are sitting on the armor. Well, in short, they started shooting with everything they had. They threw grenades, and let's crush them in bursts. One "bater" was knocked out, but it was on the move, and the second began to maneuver. These “warriors” run after him to hide, and he rushes here and there, the “dill” run after him, hiding. In short, we are in a fight, and we want to laugh.

Suddenly the tank began to work wonders. He started shooting. It’s unclear where. The shells are flying to no one knows where, but he is firing. The battle is already a hundred meters away, he won’t catch us in any way, but he still shoots. Probably panicked. And then their crew apparently went crazy. The tank drove off the road and went into the field. He ran into a tree, turned the tower around and darted somewhere among the sparrows. Then he backed up and almost ran over his own people. He stopped and twisted the tower. We no longer know whether we should fight or throw away our machine guns and watch this movie.

He ended up getting stuck in a ravine by the side of the road. We thought he had run out of fuel. Well, we think, we got a big trophy. And these “terminators” began to retreat. They have several 200s, but they couldn’t take three of them, they left them. They left the tank and the machine guns lying on the road and in the field. We gave them such a “Stalingrad” that they had no time for weapons.

The battle went on for about 10 minutes, maybe 15. Six of us were wounded, and one was very seriously wounded, but he survived, thank God.
In general, we collect trophies and approach the tank to see what’s wrong with it. And there it turns out the crew sat silently. We thought they had left with everyone, but these guys are sitting there. And suddenly he came to life. I started trying to get out of the ravine, got out and let’s drive somewhere.

We felt offended, so we started chasing him. They started shooting at him with grenade launchers, we don’t know why, and throwing grenades right in front of him to confuse him. The persecution went on for about 10 minutes. He stopped, the carriage came out, hands raised, babbling something, shaking. We saw them - we understood everything. Children are simple. Let alone a tank, you can’t even trust them with a moped. One is crying, the rest of the heads are lowered, “don’t kill, please don’t kill.” We felt sorry for them, humanly speaking. We gave them some water, but they are afraid to take it.

In general, we calmed them down, they understood that we were not going to kill or torture. We got to talking - they are from Dnepropetrovsk, from the region, everyone is not yet 20. I don’t understand how it is possible to send children who have not been shot at to the slaughterhouse. Also trust the tank. We did not take them prisoner. They told them to go home and hide until it was all over. But they were going to do it anyway.

This is how we fight. We are “terrorists” and “bandits”, and they are the army, the defender of the people. Only for some reason they are on my land, they kill civilians, and we take away their weapons and send them home without ransom or bullying. And who are the terrorists, I wonder? Are we blowing up their houses and taking hostages? No, and we are not going to. Therefore, the truth is on our side, and we are stronger, and our morale is higher. And victory will be ours."

“At the Uspenka border crossing (the Amvrosievsky district of the DPR, occupied by punitive forces), a car with Ukrainian border guards was blown up by an RDG landmine. Over Molodogvardeysk (LPR), a Ukrainian plane was shot down at about 21.30. Unfortunately, it got away.
Now they are working closely with Grad near Saur-Mogila. Ha, this is the first time I’ve seen the “Endless Ammo” option working - previously they used the full package for dill only occasionally, almost on holidays.
At 2:00 Moscow time. there's fighting again in Ilovaisk."

Reports from the militia of New Russia 03/10/2016 (updated)

03/10/16. Message from the militia.

"South. At 22:50 the battle in the Kominternovo area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces began shelling with AGS, machine guns and grenade launchers. Donetsk. From the direction Sand, the Ukronazis are firing from the ZU and AGS in the Oktyabrsky area. The battle continues in the Airport area. Gorlovka - noisy in the area of the Gagarin highway, dill uses small arms."

Message from the DPR Ministry of Defense: “Ukrainian security forces have resumed shelling the Donetsk airport. Ukrainian units also opened fire on the village of Spartak. The enemy is firing from positions in the area of the ventilation shaft of the Butovskaya mine and the village of Opytnoye, using mortars of 82 and 120 mm caliber, grenade launchers and small arms. "The positions of DPR fighters in the village of Zaitsevo in the north of Gorlovka also came under fire from Ukrainian snipers. We would like to remind you that earlier the DPR Ministry of Defense reported 408 shelling of the front-line territory per day by the Ukrainian Armed Forces."

03/10/16. Message from military correspondent Marina Kharkova on the situation around Yasinovataya.

“Preventive measures have been going on for two days to “weed” the dill in the western direction. The dill there is still dejectedly silent. In the northern direction, fighting continues within the industrial zone, where stoners have dug in and were thinking of holding the previously occupied territory. Fighting in the industrial zone is preferable to fighting in residential buildings, loss initiative on our part was caused by this factor, among other things. However, there is no need to talk about encirclement or complete ousting from our positions. The enemy was unable to build on the success and make significant progress these days, since he is faced with counterattacks and counter-battery fire. There is there is a certain probability that the trap will slam shut with the loud sound of the lid of the Avdeevka cauldron if the enemy continues to persist in its delusions. During the cleansing operations, the enemy suffers losses, but there are losses on our side as well. Doctors from hospitals in Donetsk and Yasinovataya are now rescuing dozens of wounded. Data on the dead It is possible that the events in the Yasinovat direction are intended to divert attention from the main attack on other lines of contact, for example, on the southern front, where the situation has become tense and communication is difficult or interrupted. The military situation is beginning to develop and has passed the dead point where it has been stuck for the past months."

03/10/16. Message from military correspondent Marina Kharkova.

“Yesterday, March 9 and today, March 10, the situation on the southern front of the republic became tense. The Ukrainian military repeatedly opened fire with mortars, grenade launchers and infantry fighting vehicle guns towards the village of Bezymyanoye, located on the shore of the Azov Sea, east of the village of Shirokino, on the way to Novoazovsk. North of this area of the firefight flared up east of the village of Granitnoye, in the direction of the regional center Telmanovo. Strong fighting broke out this afternoon in the Starobeshevsky district of the DPR, near the village of Styla, controlled by the armed forces of the Donetsk People's Republic. From the very beginning of the war in Donbass, the intensification of ground shelling is certainly accompanied by an intensification of reconnaissance flights of unmanned aerial vehicles aircraft (UAVs) These days they are constantly hovering over the combat area in Yasinovataya and over the Krasnogvardeisky district of Makeyevka.
In the airspace of Gorlovka, Ukrainian UAVs circled over the villages of Zaitsevo, Shirokaya Balka, and the Gagarin mine village. To conduct aerial reconnaissance, the Ukrainian military used two types of UAVs - both a winged, “airplane” configuration, and “frame quads”, with four propellers on the edges. Each of the quadriga's four engines is capable of operating in autonomous mode. Drones of this configuration can fly along a zigzag course or hover over a given area."

03/10/16. Message from a militia member from the LM LPR.

“There is intense combat in the LPR, firstly in Bakhmutka - mortar shelling has become more frequent, tanks too, small arms and grenade launchers in the same vein, are hitting. Is there a response? THERE IS! But their hands are itching for so many, so much so that they run to their native Lvov. Especially Now there are battles around the 29th checkpoint, the checkpoint itself is behind the Ukrainians, but our positions are almost not around it (except for the highway itself and Novotoshkovskoye.) At the place of command, I would carry out an operation to squeeze out the Ukrainians from the height of 175.9, and the 29th checkpoint, so how their positions make it possible to cover many settlements and complicate the delivery of ammunition and fuel and lubricants during combat operations. Tanks at a height can shoot ours and “convoys” with direct fire. Nikolaevka - Pionersky area - sniper duels, exchange of FOGs, sometimes they shoot from AGS at us. Regarding the DPR and Yasnovataya, the situation is this, the information is different. According to our comrades in arms, the Ukrainians are attacking wave after wave, before and during the attack, covering positions with artillery. According to some information, the DPR artillery began to respond, while sluggishly. Time will tell whether there will be an offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces or not, right now there are art duels and attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, weapons are being used on both sides, sometimes MLRS. The intensity of the fighting is off the charts. Let’s not guess, since it’s pointless, we’ll see soon!”

03/10/16 Video from News-Front agency.

"DPR. Nikolaevka after shelling from the Ukrainian punitive forces. As a result of shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the villages of Nikolaevka and Naberezhnoe in the south of the DPR, a man was wounded, eight residential private houses were damaged. Doctors managed to save the life of a man who was wounded the day before. This was reported by the deputy commander Corps of the DPR Ministry of Defense Eduard Basurin. “The man was operated on, now nothing threatens his life and health,” emphasized the deputy corps commander."

03/10/16. Official report from the DPR Ministry of Defense (Eduard Basurin).

“The situation on the contact line in Donbass is deteriorating; over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have shelled the territory of the DPR more than 400 times. The villages of Zaitsevo in the north of Gorlovka, Nikolaevka, Naberezhnoe and Grigorovka in the south of the Republic, the village of Staromikhailovka and the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, the village of Lozovoye in the Yasinovatsky district were the most intensively shelled. , the city of Yasinovataya, the villages of Spartak, Veseloye and the vicinity of the airport, as well as the territory of the Volvo Center on the northern outskirts of the capital. About 300 militants of the radical group “Right Sector” were identified by intelligence of the DPR Ministry of Defense near the front line in the occupied part of the Yasinovatsky district. Verkhnetoretskoe (the occupied part of the Yasinovatsky district) (four kilometers from the contact line) the arrival of up to 300 Ukrainian military personnel from among the activists of the DUK "Right Sector" was noted on the hospital territory. The activity of Ukrainian nationalist groups in the conflict zone in Donbass was repeatedly recorded by representatives of the DPR Ministry of Defense. Their transfer to the front traditionally accompanied by the resumption of shelling by the DPR. Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian command strengthened the armed formations near Mariupol with militants from the Right Sector. In particular, the arrival of radicals numbering up to 60 people was noted near Volnovakha, 17 km from the contact line. Due to uncoordinated actions by commanders, the Ukrainian armed forces fired at their reconnaissance group when it crossed the demarcation line between the parties. Our intelligence recorded the fact of a clash between units of the 57th Infantry Brigade. The battle began when the commanders of various units attempted to cross the line of combat contact of the reconnaissance group of the 57th infantry brigade, which was mistaken for an enemy reconnaissance group. As a result, four servicemen of the 57th separate motorized brigade were seriously injured and hospitalized in the district hospital of the city of Dzerzhinsk. Moreover, one of the servicemen died due to the command’s refusal to allocate a helicopter to transport him to the hospital in Kramatorsk. Previously, DPR intelligence has repeatedly recorded armed clashes between participants in Kyiv’s punitive operation in the Donbass, in particular between regular units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and “volunteer” groups.”

03/10/16. Material from military observer Boris Rozhin.

“About the situation near Yasinovataya. I would like to note that the problem of the Yasinovataya transport interchange is to some extent a consequence of last year’s unsuccessful attempts to break through the Peski-Avdeevka arc, when, despite the efforts made and significant losses, it was not possible to take these two villages. In our case with a denouement, when in the winter of 2015 the Armed Forces of Ukraine gained a foothold on the eastern outskirts of Avdiivka and there was still the question that Avdiivka needed to be cleared of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, then naturally the Armed Forces of Ukraine had no time for a denouement, although it is not very far from Avdiivka there. But within a year The Armed Forces of Ukraine have improved their positions here (as well as near Peski) and can now afford to show similar tactical activity. As the experience of similar actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Novaya Laspa shows, where, under the pretext of “response actions,” attempts were made to squeeze out a significant piece of neutral land + to capture the village itself, Half measures don't really help here.

The results appear when, with the onset of darkness, the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces begin to be covered with artillery and, if necessary, with MLRS. A couple of “hot nights” + a flow of 200x and 300x to the rear immediately reduces the desire to continue active battles for “neutral”. If we condone such attempts and limit ourselves to half measures, the enemy will naturally continue to adhere to fairly successful tactics, which do not promise any operational successes, but allow us to expand the zone of control and keep troops in good shape. In this case, the small tactical success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also has delayed consequences in the form of difficult/absent transport communications along the Donetsk-Gorlovka highway. Regarding who should solve this problem, I would like to note that behind the hype around the conflict between Zakharchenko and Khodakovsky, people forget that military issues in the DPR lie under the responsibility of the command of the 1st Army Corps. It is quite clear that the “Minsk course” to a certain extent ties the hands of the military and does not provide all the opportunities that they have without being bound by these restrictions. But the experience of 2015 in the battles for “neutral” in various areas shows that even in this state of affairs, they have the tools to solve the problem. Of course, since the operation to establish fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Yasinovatsk interchange is part of the current strategy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, then the activation of the Armed Forces and the increase in fire impact on the enemy will be met with opposition with the aim that if the Armed Forces are not immediately able to restore the situation in the area of the interchange, the situation may will freeze, and then we can expect a repeat of the situation with Shirokino, which was sacrificed to “peace initiatives.” Therefore, I would like to wish good luck to the DPR military so that they do not allow these plans to come true. I wouldn’t count on the junta’s exhortation; the problem is of a purely military nature and must be solved by purely military means.”

Message from a militiaman, call sign "Vasilich"
(located in positions near Yasinovataya)

Yeah. The f...pa here is intense. They cover us all.
I’m digging in and will soon reach coal. We are like a layer cake here, fighting for houses and neighborhoods. We recaptured the street. How long? There's dirt here! They go everywhere. The snipers are working. I'm in a trench now - you can't stick your head out. 100 -150 meters to dill, but this is conditional - they can enter from any direction. Who is hitting where, where - nothing is clear.
I can’t write any specifics yet - everything is soft-boiled. Maybe I'll get my bearings by evening...
Smoke break for now. Our 120s are working, the dill are quiet and hiding.
It’s funny, an oxymoron - there is a battle going on, and in the pauses between shooting you can hear: “The Gorlovka-Yasinovataya electric train is arriving...”

For yesterday.

Summary from Ruslan Lyapin:
The fighting for the Yasinovat checkpoint is intensifying every day, gradually turning into a full-scale operation to encircle Gorlovka. But first, something urgent: as local residents have just reported, at about 03:30 a powerful explosion thundered in the Yakovlevka area, as the townspeople note, it was very similar to the 152 caliber. (Collapse)
Around 1 a.m., Gvardeyka received several heavy ones that sounded like a 120th mortar. Meanwhile, battles of varying intensity continue in the Yasinovat direction. It’s been two weeks since the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to develop an offensive in this direction and today launched another attack from the industrial zone of Staraya Avdiivka.
Today (approx. - 09.03) the escalation there began around eight in the evening, when the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened heavy fire from tanks, mortars and self-propelled guns on the positions of the city’s defenders in the area of the traffic police post and closer to the Konstantinovskaya highway. The battle gained full strength by eleven in the evening and, as previously reported, did not subside until midnight.

Message from military correspondent Marin Kharkov about the wounded:
After heavy fighting for Yasinovataya, within 24 hours, only one of Donetsk’s hospitals received two dozen wounded with mine-explosive, shrapnel and bullet wounds. Six of them are in intensive care with injuries to the chest, spine, and polytraumas. The enemy was unable to advance and consolidate his advantage, as he met decisive resistance from our army men. Judging by the number of wounded, the fighting in the Yasinovat direction and the shelling of our positions were fierce, and the stoners will continue to try to break through to the city.”

Bezler's comment:

After I wrote about Yasinovataya, I received a lot of private messages. It all comes down to one thing, I don’t understand maps and don’t understand anything at all, 500m. to the road, no one cut anything, etc., etc., etc.
For all armchair hamster warriors, keyboard warriors and other specialists. I hasten to please you, neither the military school nor the academy taught me how to understand maps. What kind of pictures, numbers, blue and green spots are there? I still confuse the king with the jack, and the ace with the queen. Well, for the same “stupid and slow-witted” people like me, unlike the couch hamsters, I will answer. The main heavy machine gun VSU-DShK. This machine gun has a muzzle energy that exceeds the muzzle energy of both NSV (Utes) and KORD. Therefore, the bullet’s penetrating effect on armored targets is very high; at a distance of 500 m, the bullet penetrates high-hardness steel armor 15 mm thick, and medium-strength armor up to 20 mm. This machine gun is very effective for shooting at fast-moving targets. The sighting range of the DShK is 3500m, the initial bullet speed is 860m/s. Well, I was a binary student and it’s hard for me to remember that the speed of sound in air is 331 m/s. The armor thickness of the 70 is 6mm, the forehead is 8-10mm. 80 has 7mm, forehead 10mm. After a line from the DShK, your mortal body will be smeared in the armored personnel carrier along the walls, and if you are in a civilian car, they can then be collected far outside the car. The soul will talk to God or the Devil, depending on your luck, and the sound of the shot will reach your ears only after 2 seconds, if there are any left. I won’t delve into the performance characteristics of the AK-74; its effective firing range is: 650 m
500-550 meters you talk to the road, you talk about maps. Oh well....
I. Bezler
P.S. Respect your opponent, never consider him stupider than you."

03/10/16. Answers by I.I. Strelkova to questions about the situation around Yasinovataya.

"Question: If the Yasinovatsky traffic police post is handed over to the Ukrainians, what will happen to the section of the highway and the adjacent territory between this post and Donetsk (Putilov bridge, where the stele is), Does it make sense to defend this section or no longer from a tactical point of view? After all, after it there is a city And then what, street fighting in the city?
Why are the Ukrainians pressing so hard on the Yasinovat post? Because of the road junction there?

I. Strelkov: This outcome has very serious tactical significance.
But for the Ukrainians, probably much more important is the fact that this outcome has never been under their control before - accordingly, they will have a good chance to announce a real “victory”.

And, it should be noted that from the overpass to the center of Donetsk (administrative) it is a 10-15 minute drive in a straight line. Not a bad springboard for a “throw.”

Question: What will happen to Gorlovka?

I. Strelkov: So far nothing particularly terrible is happening. Gorlovka is connected to Donetsk by more than one road. There are several bypass routes, through Zhdanovka, for example.

Question: Igor Ivanovich, does the general situation in the Republics continue to degrade or is it at the same level?
And why did they recently talk about shelling on television?

I. Strelkov: It’s difficult to say.
And the shelling is shown on television because it is no longer possible to ignore - the situation is on the verge of resuming the “active phase.” The Ukrainians have actually reached the outskirts of Yasinovataya - they are separated from the highway to Gorlovka in some places by only a few tens of meters.

Question: The Republic can neither push back the punitive forces from Donetsk nor fulfill the unacceptable agreements. Can they, in principle, get out of this impasse?

I. Strelkov: Without large-scale direct military assistance from the Russian Federation, no, they won’t be able to. The time to create a powerful army of our own has been lost (or rather, no one did this at all, since they tried to “softly merge” Donbass). Now, in principle, the LDNR will not be able to “catch up” with Ukrainian Ukrainians.”

03/10/16. Video from RISI experts.

Yuri Kotenok - head of the media relations sector of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies (RISI) - about traitors, former Russians who renounced Russia and their Russian name. As part of punitive formations, they are attacking the unrelenting Donbass. “Do the Russian people living in Ukraine understand what monstrous fate they are dooming their children to?” exclaims the expert.”

03/10/16. Review of the combat situation from the Federal News Agency.

"First Ukrainian: battle in Yasinovataya, fighting at the airport, losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the Yasinovataya region, clashes continue, the territory of the Donetsk airport came under fire, the Ukrainian army is hiding non-combat losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The war for Yasinovataya. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Donetsk People's Republic, Ukrainian troops continue to inflict strikes in the Yasinovatsky district. It is reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively using 82-mm mortars. On Thursday night, the villages of Zhabichevo and Mineralnoye came under fire. In addition, during the shelling, the Ukrainian military used small arms and various types of grenade launchers.

A militiawoman with the call sign “Bullet,” who serves in the second motorized rifle battalion of the fifth brigade of the DPR Armed Forces, confirmed to the Federal News Agency that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively processing the Yasinovataya area. “Yes, indeed, in recent days the dill have been shelling the outskirts of Yasinovataya very heavily. A huge range of weapons is used against us, from small arms to artillery. The army of the Donetsk People’s Republic is already ready to repel the dill, everyone is in combat readiness,” said the militia member.

In turn, a fighter of the DPR Armed Forces with the call sign “Sensei”, in a conversation with a FAN correspondent, said that due to the endless battles in the Yasinovatsky district, the greatest concern is the safety of the Donetsk Filtration Station (DFS). “The road is conveniently shelled. If these freaks accidentally get into liquid chlorine at the DFS, no one will think it’s enough,” the fighter said.

As a militiaman with the call sign “Vasilich” writes on social networks, a fierce battle is now taking place in the Yasinovataya area. According to him, the Ukrainian army covers the DPR positions with almost all types of weapons. He noted that there are clashes over entire houses and neighborhoods.

“The Ukrainian military here is like dirt! Although there are snipers working everywhere. I'm in a trench now - I can't stick my head out. Now our 120s are working, the dill have become quiet and hid,” the fighter reports.

Donetsk airport under fire

According to the DPR Ministry of Defense, militants of the Ukrainian nationalist battalions shelled the territory of the Donetsk airport in the morning. The fire came from positions in the village of Peski. The enemy actively used 82-mm and 120-mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers and small arms.

In addition, the Ukrainian army shelled the village of Spartak, which is also located in the area of the airport. The fire came from the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the ventilation shaft of the Butovskaya mine. Once again, the Ukrainian army used all types of weapons except multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian army hides non-combat losses of military equipment

As stated by Andrey Marochko, a representative of the People's Militia of the Lugansk People's Republic, the Ukrainian military is hiding the real figure of the volume of non-combat losses among weapons and military equipment in the zone of the so-called anti-terrorist operation. According to him, the reason for the loss of military equipment is the incompetence and negligence of the command staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to Marochko, in December last year, the Ukrainian army transferred about 26 units of military equipment to the village of Gerasimovka, which were ultimately located in a lowland without taking into account the terrain. As a result, the LPR soldier noted, Ukrainian equipment is still there, flooded by rising groundwater.

In turn, the Ukrainian military continues to accuse the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics of endless provocations. As the press center of the headquarters of the so-called anti-terrorist operation traditionally reports on the social network Facebook, the militias allegedly opened fire on the positions of the Ukrainian army 49 times over the past 24 hours.

It is reported that the Kyiv punitive forces suffered the most in the area of the village of Avdeevka, from where, according to the militia, Donetsk and its outskirts are periodically shelled. In addition, they accuse the DPR of allegedly using self-propelled artillery and mortars by the defenders of Donbass."

"Yeah. The ass here is intense. They're covering us all up. I'm digging in, soon I'll get to the coal. We're a layer cake here, fighting for houses and neighborhoods. We've recaptured the street. Message from the LPR NM: “The leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to hide the real non-combat losses of weapons and military equipment. Thus, without taking into account the terrain and the peculiarities of the rise of groundwater, 26 units of military equipment arrived in the area of the village of Gerasimovka, which were placed in the lowlands where they are located. today, flooded by rising groundwater."

03/10/16. Note from Yuri Kovalchuk.

“While Kiev is conducting reconnaissance in force, there is a struggle for power in Donetsk. The frequent attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Yasinovatsky direction are an extremely alarming signal. The game being played by the Ukrainian General Staff looks more meaningful and promising than ever. The results of this tactic can be catastrophic, and “bonuses” “Kiev will receive it in any case.

At a minimum, there is a creeping seizure of neutral territory. Despite the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attacks were repulsed, their positions are gradually moving closer and closer to the militias. Having established themselves here, they will make it impossible to move on the strategically important highway connecting Donetsk and Gorlovka. We should also not forget about the Yasinovatsky railway junction, which will also be under attack.

In theory, if the Ukrainian Armed Forces throw significant forces in this direction and are able to capture Yasinovataya and advance deeper into the republic, they will create a permanent threat to Donetsk and Gorlovka. However, the word threat is inappropriate here, since there is no doubt that, having received such an opportunity, the punitive forces will immediately begin to shell Gorlovka, Makeevka and, directly, Donetsk.

Even taking into account the lack of talent of the Ukrainian commanders, it is difficult to imagine that they will again try to break through to the Russian border through Ilovaisk and Amvrosievka. Moreover, unlike 2014, now they will have to deal not with scattered militia detachments, with a minimum of weapons, equipment and ammunition, but with united and well-armed troops.

At the same time, moving deeper into the republic and consolidating it will provide a tempting opportunity to take Donetsk in a pincer attack, striking from the western direction. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have enough strength for this - for almost a year, all the best that Kiev had left was gathered in Volnovakha, Konstantinovka, etc.

It is unlikely that the Ukrainian General Staff will try to take Kyiv, but this is not necessary. It will be enough to blockade the city, to formally open the green corridor for civilians for a day, and then cover it with carpet bombing. It is unknown whether the army of Novorossiya will have enough strength to break the blockade, and the LPR will hardly be able to allocate a significant number of people and equipment to help - along the entire demarcation line there are many times superior enemy forces, regularly disturbing Luhansk residents with shelling, reconnaissance in force and incursions by the DRG.

However, at the moment, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attempts to recapture the Yasinovatskaya fork are of a formal, reconnaissance nature (despite the losses, since Kyiv can afford them). Constant, disturbing attacks in this direction may well serve as a diversionary maneuver. While Donetsk’s attention will be focused on Yasinovataya (do not forget the constant shelling and attempts to advance from the Pesok side), Kyiv may well strike in the Mariupol direction, where shelling has also become more frequent recently.

Quite large connections are also concentrated in this direction, and only 200-300 km away. to the west, in the Kherson region, there is a train of 300 armored vehicles and more than 8 thousand personnel. Moreover, more and more new equipment arrives in the Kherson region every week.

The distance from Mariupol to border Novoazovsk is negligible - 40 km. in a straight line. If we manage to break through the defenses and reach the border, not only Donetsk, but the entire republic will be under threat.

Naturally, all this time the Donetsk Republic was actively preparing for any development of the plot - strengthening its defenses, training personnel, hastily repairing equipment. But we should not forget that Kyiv has a numerical superiority. And worse, while clouds are gathering over the republic, in Donetsk itself there is a continuous struggle for power.

At the moment, there is an indicative (and very fair) “debriefing” regarding the commander of the “Vostok” unit and protege of oligarch Akhmetov, Alexander Khodakovsky. A specially created commission is investigating Khodakovsky’s abuses of power, he is testifying. Moreover, it is clear that neither he nor Alexander Zakharchenko are not saints and are capable of putting forward many claims against each other, and it does not matter at all which of them wins, since in any case the republic will suffer from this war for power.

It was not enough for it to come to the point of civil strife - “Vostok” is a serious force, and Khodakovsky is quite an influential person in the republic and he is no stranger to either disgrace or attempts to disband his detachment. We can only hope that both sides of the conflict will remember in a timely manner who their real enemy is. Moreover, the situation is very alarming."

03/10/16. Overview of the situation from militiaman Alexander Matyushin.

“While the Ukrainian Armed Forces are seizing the “gray zone,” the DPR is playing peacekeepers.” The capture of the Yasinovat checkpoint, for which fighting is currently underway, cuts off communication between Donetsk and the north of the DPR territory, creates a new tense area with the possibility of Ukrainian troops breaking through to Donetsk and makes it possible to cut off the capital of the DPR from the rest of the republic. The head of the Russian Ostrog RPD, Alexander Matyushin (known under the call sign “Varyag”), told EADaily about this on March 9. “The fighting for the Yasinovatsky checkpoint has not stopped for two years, since the Ukrainian army approached Yasinovatya and Donetsk. Behind this checkpoint, after 200-300 meters, Yasinovataya itself begins. Before the war, this was a large traffic police post at the entrance to Yasinovataya and further to Donetsk. This is one of the first checkpoints during the Russian Spring. Even at the time when Taruta was sitting in the regional administration (Sergei Taruta, the “governor of the Donetsk region of Ukraine” appointed by Kiev - EADaily), the tent city arose there. Meetings and congresses were held there, people from Kharkov and Lugansk came there to jointly adjust actions. This is a supporting and symbolic post. But it also has great strategic importance. Now it is very strongly fortified, but battles for it periodically break out. With its capture, the Ukrainian army has an additional exit to Yasinovataya, the Donetsk-Gorlovka-Yasinovataya communication is cut and an additional exit to Donetsk is opened, since the highway goes straight to Donetsk,” said Alexander Matyushin.

Now, according to him, as a result of constant shelling from the Ukrainian troops and the ensuing direct clashes, the route is practically cut off and does not work, and residents of the Gorlovka and Yasinovatsk agglomerations get to Donetsk and Makeevka by a long, detour route, which they used back in 2014 - during the the most brutal battles.

“It's pretty hot there. There are constant shooting battles, and there is constant shelling from both mortars and tanks. Moreover, there is also the village of Spartak nearby, where Ukrainian troops recently occupied a gray zone - an industrial zone, moving even closer to the positions of the DPR. They actually stood close and occupied a piece of our territory, and ended up even closer to the Yasinovat checkpoint,” Varyag said. He said that a couple of weeks ago it was still possible to drive along the highway, but then intense shelling began, and now traffic is essentially blocked.

In other areas, the line of contact, according to Alexander Matyushin, remained unchanged. At the same time, clashes are taking place along the entire front line.

“The only change is Spartak. This happened as a result of the fact that the people who defended Spartak for a long time, almost a year, were removed from these positions and new ones were put there. And they could not hold part of the territory, they gave away a small piece of our land, thereby bringing the Ukrainians closer to our positions,” Matyushin noted.

In his opinion, the situation could be corrected by an offensive aimed at squeezing out the “Gorlovka-Yasinovataya-Donetsk airport” triangle. “We need a joint operation in a small pocket to push the enemy out of Avdeevka, drive them away from the airport, Spartak, and from Yasinovataya from the south. As a result, Skotovataya and some other settlements are liberated. This pocket is begging to be connected, but, unfortunately, the team has not yet arrived to begin active hostilities. We continue to play peacekeepers and declare our commitment to the Minsk agreements, which are not working. As a result, we are seeing a gradual takeover of the gray zone. If in the south we still managed to capture several villages in response to the territories occupied by the Ukrainians, then in the north we see a slide into nowhere,” stated Matyushin.

According to the deputy corps commander of the DPR Ministry of Defense, Eduard Basurin, after intense shelling of the DPR army positions for three days, units of the 13th and 16th companies of the battalion of the 58th motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the support of several tanks and armored vehicles, tried to move into the neutral zone in the Yasinovataya area and gain a foothold, but the attempt was thwarted. According to Denis Pushilin’s statement, the DPR will bring the situation in the Yasinovataya area to the discussion of the Contact Group negotiations in Minsk.

Earlier, at the Yasinovatsky checkpoint, a civilian bus traveling along the Donetsk-Gorlovka route, as well as a group of Russian journalists, came under fire."

03/10/16. Report from military correspondent Andrei Kostin.

“The nightmare days of the “truce” in the DPR: 199 shellings, destroyed and damaged houses, a wounded civilian. The spring aggravation at the military command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues and bloomed wildly before the gardens: the assault at the Yasinovatsky checkpoint, the shelling of Nikolaevka and bravura reports about the contrived military successes. And now more about the actions of the “ATO heroes”. Zaitsevo, Spartak, Yasinovataya, Dokuchaevsk, Shirokaya Balka, the airport, Volvo Center and Petrovsky district of Donetsk were under particularly intense punitive fire. As a result of the punitive attack in Zaitsevo, one house burned down due to for being hit by a shell. In the southern direction, the village of Nikolaevka was subjected to massive shelling. One house there was completely destroyed and at least four residential buildings were damaged. A man born in 1952 received a shrapnel wound. The victim was taken to a hospital in Telmanovo and urgently operated on.

All night there were clashes near Marinka and near the airport. The village of Spartak was shelled from infantry fighting vehicles and heavy machine guns. There was even information online about the shelling of the filtration station and the militia advised people to stock up on water and charge their phones.

But the main battles have been going on for the third day at the Yasinovatsky checkpoint. The punitive forces fired heavily from large-caliber artillery. And at 20-00 a tough battle began in the direction of Avdeevka-Yasinovataya. Ukrainian tanks joined the shelling of the DPR army positions at the traffic police post. Alarming messages began to appear from residents of Avdiivka on social networks:

Almost from 8 pm the city is shaking. The Ukrainian Armed Forces use 120 mm mortars, self-propelled guns, the gap between falls is less than 2 seconds, there are a lot of falls. The southern side of Avdiivka is torn apart by explosions. The machine guns and machine guns do not subside.

But closer to the morning, the DPR armed forces were able to repel enemy attacks. The DPR Ministry of Defense called this clash a direct provocation on the part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, aimed at disrupting the Minsk agreements. At his briefing, Deputy Corps Commander of the DPR Ministry of Defense Eduard Basurin said:

After shelling of our positions and posts in the area of the Yasinovatsky checkpoint, units of the 13th and 16th companies of the 15th separate battalion of the 58th motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the support of several tanks and armored vehicles, tried to move into the neutral zone and gain a foothold there . But the enemy attack was thwarted. These actions of Ukrainian commanders are a threat to the fragile peace in Donbass. An attempt by punitive forces to unleash a new round of hostilities will lead to new casualties among the civilian population.

This provocation raised a wave of indignation even in the Ukrainian media and many stories and publications appeared telling the truth about what happened at the Yasinovat checkpoint and led to the mass death of Ukrainian military personnel. After this, the Kiev authorities further strengthened censorship in the media, which, under pressure, after the emergence of truthful information, began to issue absolutely meaningless and absurd reports that the checkpoint was attacked by Russian soldiers dressed in the uniform of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to some Ukrainian media, the mummers were from the DPR army.

But the DPR armed forces still repelled the enemy attack. The losses of our armed forces are not officially reported, but information appears that there are a lot of wounded among the defenders of Donbass. In particular, only one of the Donetsk hospitals received almost two dozen wounded near the Yasinovatsky block post with mine-explosive, shrapnel and bullet wounds. Six of them are in serious condition and are now in intensive care.

There is no doubt that attempts to capture Yasinovataya will continue. After all, Major General Taran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine openly stated this. When Russian representatives of the JCCC intervened in resolving the conflict at the checkpoint and called Taran demanding a ceasefire, he directly stated: “Give Yasinovataya back and we’ll stop the fire.” The Ukrainian military did not respond to the demand to leave the gray zone.

The fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing for an offensive is confirmed daily by information from DPR intelligence. In the last 24 hours alone, the arrival of 4 tanks and 40 Cougar armored vehicles in Avdeevka has been revealed. And in Ugledar, on the territory of a holiday village, six 9K-58 Smerch MLRS were discovered.

03/10/16. Report from military correspondent Ruslan Lyapin.

"Hot night near Yasinovatka: heavy shelling and a new attempt to break through. The battles for the Yasinovatka checkpoint are intensifying every day, gradually turning into a full-scale operation to encircle Gorlovka. But first, something urgent: as local residents have just reported, at about 03:30 a thunderclap thundered in the Yakovlevka area a powerful explosion, as noted by townspeople, was very similar to the 152 caliber. Around 1 am, the Guard took several heavy ones, the sound was similar to the 120th mortar. Meanwhile, battles of varying intensity continue in the Yasinovat direction. Already two weeks ago, the Armed Forces of Ukraine began develop the offensive in this direction and today launched another attack from the industrial zone of Staraya Avdievka.

Today, the escalation there began around eight in the evening, when the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened heavy fire from tanks, mortars and self-propelled guns at the positions of the city’s defenders in the area of the traffic police post and closer to the Konstantinovskaya highway. The battle gained full strength by eleven in the evening and, as previously reported, did not subside until midnight.

Regarding the losses, Marina Kharkova reports: “After heavy fighting for Yasinovataya, within 24 hours, only one of the hospitals in Donetsk received two dozen wounded with mine-explosive, shrapnel and bullet wounds.

The fighting does not subside on other sectors of the front either. Thus, Spartak, Volvo Center and the Airport came under fire. Mortars, LNG, AGS and heavy machine guns were used.

And now the news through the looking glass: “The whole situation around the Yasinovat checkpoint and the Donetsk Filtration Station will rise not only in Minsk, but also at the level of the Normandy Four.” We will do everything possible to ensure that the situation with the Yasinovat checkpoint is resolved through negotiations,” said Denis Pushilin, a representative of the DPR at the negotiations in Minsk.

“Unfortunately, not only the bus, but also a number of civilian vehicles came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which indicates the close proximity of the Ukrainian side and the actual occupation of the gray zone by the Ukrainian military,” Pushilin concluded.

Now you can be calm and in full confidence that upon hearing Denis Vladimirovich, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will deploy their guns and leave immediately, etc.

They will especially do this after the United States and Germany again announced that Russia is to blame for everything, which Minsk is not doing as well as they want.

“The USA and Germany will continue to put pressure on Russia until Minsk-2 is completed. Pentagon chief Ashton Carter and German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen spoke out for the need to “maintain pressure” on Russia to resolve the situation in Ukraine. Carter and von der Leyen held talks in the United States on Tuesday, the Pentagon said.

“They emphasized the need to maintain pressure on Russia to comply with the Minsk agreements,” the report said.

That is, there are two options: either the media confused Ukraine and Russia, or the West continues its line of forcing Russia to capitulate, once again proving that no diplomatic methods or agreements work when they are unprofitable. For the EU and the US and its “partners,” Russia will be to blame not only for the failure of Minsk, but also for all the deaths from bullets and shells of Ukrainian punitive forces, simply because it was appointed to blame.

Would you say this doesn’t happen? It happens that the Serbs and Syrians can confirm."

03/10/16. Video from military officers.

“Sometimes the atrocities of the Ukrainian artillerymen on the land of Donbass are simply shocking. These bandits are not ashamed of anything, nothing is sacred to them. Even Orthodox Churches are subjected to barbaric shelling by the invaders, which arouse especially burning hatred in them. Thus, the military correspondents prepared a report on what was destroyed by artillery fire AFU Iversky Monastery and St. Iversky Church."

03/10/16. Note from the Free Press publication.

“Kiev is preparing terrorist attacks? In recent days on the eve of the announcement of the verdict of the Ukrainian gunner Nadezhda Savchenko, more and more often one can hear belligerent statements from some Kiev politicians and public figures who call for literally “revenge” for the gunner, reports Svobodnaya Pressa. The call to kidnap Russian citizens for exchange is becoming popular on Savchenko. In particular, such a call was made on the air of the Ukr Life channel by retired Russian TV presenter Evgeniy Kiselev, who moved to Kiev several years ago.

In his opinion, the Ukrainian special services should kidnap some Russian citizen in order to accuse him of espionage and exchange him for Savchenko. At the same time, Kiselev calls not to limit himself to ordinary citizens, but to kidnap diplomats who do not have immunity.

“When you are dealing with a tough, cynical, impudent opponent who believes that everything is allowed to him, behave accordingly. Take, arrest five Russian agents, even if they are not agents. Sorry, I’m saying cynical things... Detain several citizens of the Russian Federation on suspicion of espionage activities. Not all Russian embassy employees are protected by diplomatic immunity. Steal someone like the Russians steal. Steal there, in the east - well, there are ways,” Kiselev said.

Bloggers immediately responded to Kiselev’s calls, which fall under the provisions of the Russian Criminal Code.

“But he probably has something in Russia. Maybe there is an apartment, a house in some ex-Gusin Chigasovo, something else. And he is not afraid that the house will be burned, that the property will be confiscated, that he will never be able to enter Russia again, because he will be arrested right at the border,” wrote publicist Dmitry Olshansky on his Facebook page.

“Here sits a character who not only was an official informer for the KGB of the USSR (Korzhakov declassified “agent Alekseev” a hundred years ago and showed him the corresponding folder, although many old security officers still blame him for this), but also owes his entire career to this department. The character has real estate in Russia in a famous location. It doesn’t matter that now it has most likely been re-registered as cousins and second cousins,” noted writer Marina Yudenich.

Kiselev’s calls did not go unnoticed by Russian law enforcement agencies. As Ridus reports, a criminal case may also be initiated in Russia against the former head of NTV.

It is worth noting that Kiselev has many like-minded people. Many Ukrainian public figures also believe that there should be no restrictions in responding to Savchenko's trial. For example, a well-known volunteer in Ukraine, the so-called. ATO Yuri Kasyanov in his blog calls to block the transit of Russian gas to Europe and to begin “capturing prisoners” on Russian territory.

“In order to free Nadezhda Savchenko and hundreds of other patriots and prisoners, it is not necessary to destroy the embassy. Although it is, of course, simple, cheap, and safe. We shouldn't hold rallies. Although this, of course, is beautiful and PR...

We need to take Putin and the West in one place, put pressure on the pain points, and demand. We need to shut off the gas for the fat burghers and Gazprom. It is necessary to close the border - completely, and not in a fake way. It is necessary to blockade the peninsula - in a state manner. It is necessary to carry out secret operations to capture or destroy aggressors in the occupied territory. It is necessary to arrest and bring traitors and collaborators to trial from all over the world...

We must act from a position of strength. Like strong, proud people. Only then will they respect us and be afraid of offending our people,” Kasyanov said.

“Israel acts this way, the States do this, Great Britain acts this way,” he concluded.

The practice of Israel was also cited as an example by the retired leader of the Right Sector * Dmitry Yarosh. He believes that an analogue of the Israeli political intelligence service Mossad, known for a number of successful punitive operations against the Palestinians, should be created in Ukraine. The newly created Ukrainian structure will punish the Russians and the “separatists” of Donbass.

According to Yarosh, the creation of such an organization is already being discussed with the leadership of Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies.

“I'm talking about an organization like the Israeli one. This would include the return of these criminals to the territory of Ukraine for the courts; it would be desirable to do this in as civilized a manner as possible. But I understand that it is very difficult to do this without the support of government security agencies. We are ready to facilitate this, we have spoken on these topics at the level of the Security Service of Ukraine and we understand that in war conditions, when attention is diverted to the hot front, we have limited time and resource capabilities, so we will continue to initiate this, and this organization will definitely will be created. If we rely on international courts, then we will not have any punishment for the criminals who caused the blood that is being shed now,” Yarosh said on the talk show “People. Hard Talk."

Earlier, Nadezhda Savchenko’s lawyer, Mark Feygin, did not rule out that the gunner Nadezhda Savchenko would be handed over to the Ukrainian side to carry out the punishment imposed by the Russian court, in exchange for two Russian citizens, Alexander Alexandrov and Evgeniy Erofeev, who are being tried in Ukraine. “They are awaiting the end of the trial of Savchenko and the verdict of Aleksandrov and Yerofeyev. This is a formal pretext for formal procedures. The discussion was more about how things can be changed. As far as I know, this will not be a direct exchange, because there is no reason for this. Savchenko will be sent to serve his sentence in Kyiv, and Alexandrov and Erofeev will be sent to Moscow,” Feigin said.

Kiselyov’s calls definitely have grounds for initiating a criminal case and putting him on the federal wanted list, says political scientist Vladimir Bukarsky.

Another thing is that the Ukrainian government is already kidnapping and holding thousands of people in the dungeons of the SBU without trial or investigation.

What about Yarosh’s statement that an analogue of the Mossad is already being created in Ukraine?

I think this is possible, given the absence of a language barrier and efforts at the state level for an ideological war against Russia. The Russian intelligence services will have plenty to do over the coming years...

To what extent are Israeli practices even legal from the point of view of international law? Can what Israel gets away with, Ukraine get away with?

In the current conditions, talking about international law is ridiculous. Any country interprets it based on its own interests and actively applying the method of double standards. Ukraine, from the point of view of many in the West, is today perceived as an outpost of the free world, just as Israel was once perceived by the same circles. However, the state ideology of modern Ukraine, in particular the rehabilitation of Bandera, can alienate many Western sympathizers, in particular from Poland. And Israel has an extremely negative attitude towards the rehabilitation of those responsible for the mass extermination of Jews.

Which Russian citizens could really be in danger in Ukraine? Diplomatic mission staff? Employees of representative offices of Russian companies, bank branches? What measures should Moscow take to protect them?

Today, anyone can be in danger. What measures to take to protect them is better to ask professionals from the intelligence services. In my opinion, it is necessary to sever diplomatic relations with the Kyiv junta and evacuate all Russian diplomatic workers from the territory of Ukraine. Moreover, this should have been done on February 22, 2014.

How do you think the story with Savchenko will end? Is it worth exchanging her for the same Erofeev and Alexandrov? Or is there nothing to talk about with “terrorists” taking hostages?

It is necessary to exchange Savchenko for all the prisoners of the Kyiv authorities held in the dungeons of the SBU. First of all, on the Odessa journalist Artyom Buzila.

In fact, the Kyiv authorities already have more than two thousand political prisoners, including Russian citizens,” recalls political observer Viktor Shapinov.

It would be possible to negotiate an exchange for them. If I were the Russian authorities, I would exchange Savchenko for journalists Ruslan Kotsaba and Artem Buzila. They are not citizens of Russia, and this would show that the fighters against the fascist coup in Ukraine are not forgotten. At one time, the Soviet Union exchanged the leader of the Chilean communists, who was thrown behind bars by the regime of dictator Pinochet, for the pro-Western dissident Vladimir Bukovsky. Why not repeat something similar with Savchenko, Sentsov, Kolchenko? There is nothing new in Kiselev’s proposal except open cynicism and irresponsibility. For example, a Russian citizen, communist Andrei Sokolov, has been in a Ukrainian prison for a year now on charges of terrorism. He was actually kidnapped by the SBU at a checkpoint in Donbass.

Are embassy staff really at risk? What will be the reaction of the world community if this happens?

Unfortunately yes. So far this concerns attacks by neo-Nazi groups not formally subordinate to the state. However, a country has an obligation to protect embassy workers of other countries with which they have diplomatic relations. Unfortunately, the approach professed by the Kyiv authorities leads to a severance of diplomatic relations. And this will not be beneficial for both parties.

How should Moscow react? Is it worth strengthening security at the embassy and representative offices of Russian companies?

For now, I think it’s worth not giving in to provocations. Kyiv is looking for excuses for non-compliance with the Minsk agreements, and therefore provokes Moscow into some kind of retaliatory actions.

Why kidnap someone to exchange for Savchenko if she can be exchanged for Aleksandrov and Erofeev? Is such an exchange possible?

Of course it is possible. But I would connect Savchenko’s exchange with the process of exchanging participants in the conflict in Donbass according to the “all for all” formula. The fact is that in Ukraine more than two thousand people are accused or are already imprisoned under “separatist” articles, while the LDPR has only a few hundred prisoners. The LDPR has released Ukrainian prisoners several times as gestures of goodwill, but Ukraine continues to hold political prisoners. By including Savchenko in the process of exchanging “all for all,” it is possible to bargain with Kyiv for freedom for those persecuted for political reasons.

What other inappropriate actions can be expected from the Ukrainian authorities or radicals with their connivance? Volunteer of the so-called ATO Yuri Kasyanov in his blog calls not only to “capture prisoners” on Russian territory, but also to block the transit of Russian gas to Europe.

Ukrainian “activists” and “volunteers” are now competing in inadequate radical statements. This is beneficial for Kyiv, because it is trying to provoke Russia into “symmetrical” responses. Of course, it is impossible not to respond to calls to commit crimes on the territory of the Russian Federation. But we should remember why nationalists practice radicalism. It is important not to fall into their “tit for tat” logic, as a result of which Russia will look as inadequate as today’s Ukraine.

He’s right in what he’s suggesting,” says Odessa journalist Valentin Filippov. - Any wild and impoverished state entity does this.

Moreover. Ukraine is already doing this. Essentially, Ukraine is kidnapping its own citizens to exchange for its military. She also kidnaps Russian citizens. Arrests. There are such cases. As a rule, the Russian Federation does not notice this. However, this is not widespread yet. With the further impoverishment and savagery of Ukraine, mass hostage-taking from among Russian citizens will begin. All kinds of Nazi gangs will trade in this. And for the purpose of ransom. And for the purpose of exchange. This is not some marginal forecast. This is a historical experience. This always happens in such conditions. And there are plenty of examples in the modern world. They will take hostages and carry out raids for the purpose of robbery. Hiding behind ideology and referring to the fight against the aggressor.

Again, experience suggests that Russia has never been able to combat this in a targeted manner. It is unlikely that Russia will be able to provide protection to every single citizen. However, at the state level, this is difficult. The Ukrainian leadership will not control, no longer controls, most of the processes on the territory of the country.

What safety measures should you take?

I don't know what safety measures can be taken. In all past cases, Moscow simply destroyed such neighbors and restored order in the liberated territories.

Is the exchange of Savchenko for Alexandrov and Erofeev adequate?

From a PR point of view, it is not adequate. The release of Savchenko will be a huge PR victory for the Ukrainian authorities. International victory. At the same time, I feel sorry for our soldiers... But we must remember how many of them are now in captivity.

An exchange of “all for all” (including the same Savchenko and Alexandrov with Yerofeyev) is probably possible. In theory. The trouble is that we still do not have a list of these “everyone”. This is the first. Secondly, it costs Ukraine nothing to recruit new “everyone”...

That is, arrests and seizures of people for political reasons in Ukraine are on a regular basis. Therefore, it is necessary to eliminate the captors, and not exchange those captured from them.

Well, the main thing that I would like to say is that Russians will not be able to sit out in Russia. As the “food supply” inside Ukraine shrinks, Nazis and bandits will certainly invade Russian territory. By the way, we recently saw all this in the example of Chechnya..."

03/10/16. Material from journalist Dmitry Rodionov.

“Kiev is building the Nazi “Eastern Wall.” Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov believes that his country should become part of an effective European missile defense system in order to create a powerful counterbalance to the Russian Federation’s plans to deploy offensive weapons in Crimea capable of carrying nuclear warheads. Turchynov says this in an interview published on his personal website on March 3, reports Free Press. Answering the question about whether consultations are being held with Kiev’s Western partners on the deployment of missile defense systems on the territory of Ukraine, Turchynov recalled that he spoke about possible consultations on this issue even when Russia began prepare to deploy offensive weapons in Crimea, including those that can carry nuclear warheads.

“I then emphasized that this is not only a problem for Ukraine, it is a problem for Europe, the entire civilized world, and therefore Ukraine cannot alone resist this very dangerous process,” the politician said.

“When they plan to place nuclear weapons in occupied territory, this is a very serious challenge. That is why I believe that the security system in Europe should not be formal, but effective. Including a reliable missile defense system, of which Ukraine should become a part,” Turchynov said.

The politician also accused the countries that guarantor Ukraine’s nuclear disarmament under the Budapest Memorandum of “defiantly abandoning their obligations.” Now they are “obliged to ensure the protection of Ukraine from possible missile and air strikes from Russia.”

“We need a unified missile defense system in Europe that will protect both our country and the whole of Europe. An “Eastern Wall” impenetrable to aircraft and missiles, as well as insurmountable to ground equipment, must be created. It should run from Norway through Ukraine and end in Turkey. Call this missile defense system, or, for example, the ESS (European Security System), or the same “Eastern Wall” - it’s not in the name, but in the essence,” says Turchynov.

The Ukrainian authorities are always fighting off accusations of Nazism, but for some reason they always persistently copy the Nazis in literally everything, recalls political scientist Vladimir Kornilov.

Well, Turchinov probably knows that “Eastern Wall” (Ostwall) is a term of the German Nazis, and the idea belongs to Hitler. And what is the result of that wave? Soviet tanks quickly broke through it. The West, of course, will not agree to repeat such Nazi-Turchinov adventures.

Turchynov is not afraid of the militarization of Ukraine? How will Ukrainians react to the transformation of their country into a potential theater of nuclear war?

And Ukraine has long become a potential theater of military operations in a nuclear war. Remember how Kyiv during the Yushchenko era supported plans to deploy an American missile defense system on its borders. Without even thinking about where these missiles will land if Russia starts shooting them down. Ukrainian Russophobes, blinded by hatred of Russia, for some reason always think that the Russians will not respond if they are attacked. But we understand that there will be more.

Can we say that the countries that guarantor Ukraine’s nuclear disarmament under the Budapest Memorandum “defiantly abandoned their obligations?” Did they really have such obligations, and why were they not fulfilled?

Well, I could quote Lavrov, who constantly speaks out a lot about the Budapest Memorandum. But why, even if Nuland directly answered Ukraine that the Budapest Memorandum is a legally non-binding document and no one, on its basis, committed to fight for Ukraine. Kyiv has been beating its chest for many years and shouting: “We gave away all our nuclear potential.” And he does not admit that in the early 90s he could not save nuclear missiles. Ukraine had neither the money nor the skills to support them. Remember how Ukrainian shells exploded with enviable frequency in Novobohdanovka. And now imagine if there were nuclear missiles there. It’s just that the Budapest Memorandum took away the grenade from the monkey - and that’s all...

How justified are the accusations against Russia regarding the nuclear militarization of Crimea?

Don’t forget that Russia, even before reunification with Crimea, had a Black Sea Fleet stationed in Sevastopol. Accordingly, even then Russia had the right to place nuclear weapons there. What can stop you now? Crimea is the heart of the Black Sea basin. Whoever controls Crimea controls the entire Black Sea region. Actually, that is why for centuries there was a fierce struggle for the possession of this peninsula.

On the same day, Turchynov made another militaristic statement at the Kiev Polytechnic University. According to the NSDC Secretary, Ukraine has mastered the production of its own combat missiles. Turchynov also said that the country needs to “apply a new paradigm: intelligence against brute force, convictions against anger and cruelty.” “And it is this paradigm that will lead us to victory,” he said.

The official stated that Kyiv is ready to begin implementing the full production cycle of military missiles. “Our scientists, designers and engineers ensured the production at our Ukrainian enterprises of all the necessary components obtained earlier in cooperation with the Russian Federation, which provides us with the opportunity not only to display missiles at exhibitions, but also to use them in combat use,” he noted.

Turchynov emphasized that Kyiv in the near future plans to “conduct test launches of missiles entirely of Ukrainian production, created in cooperation of exclusively Ukrainian enterprises.”

It is worth recalling that after the collapse of the USSR, Ukraine remained at its disposal long-range aircraft, including the Tu-160, Tu-16 and Tu-22 M3, as well as large arsenals of Kh-55 and Kh-22 cruise missiles. The economic crisis that gripped the country after the collapse of the Soviet Union, as well as the inability to maintain such equipment and weapons, led to the liquidation of this national air force association. During the 1990s, Kyiv systematically got rid of strategic aircraft and cruise missiles: some of the aircraft and ammunition were disposed of, some were sold or transferred to Russia in payment of debt for gas supplied. It was also reported that Ukrainian weapons appeared in Iran and China.

“I don’t exclude the possibility that Turchinov really believes in this,” says political scientist Alexey Blyuminov.

How real this threat is depends not on Turchinov, but on the plans of the (next) US administration and the Pentagon, as well as on the plans of the NATO leadership. In this sense, little depends on Europe. Now it is more an object rather than a subject of politics.

This is not the first time Turchynov has made harsh militaristic statements. Is this his role? Who is really behind him?

Alexander Valentinovich represents the Ukrainian “war party”. This is the group of politicians whose further preservation and survival at the top of power depends on the further unwinding of militaristic hysteria in society. Who is behind him? I believe those circles in the United States that intend to play the long game and resolve the issue of the “existential (to use General Breedlove’s expression) Russian threat”

Turchynov also announced Ukraine’s readiness to produce missiles. Is this a bluff? Or can you expect anything from them?

Well, theoretically it's not a bluff. If the United States has such plans and the need, a number of Ukrainian rocket manufacturing enterprises - the same Yuzhmash - can be reoriented to such production. But I have not yet heard of such intentions. Ukraine itself simply cannot handle such a project. No money left.

How destroyed is Ukraine's military-industrial potential today? Will it ever be able to return to the level of the Ukrainian SSR in this regard?

In general, it can no longer be restored. Although the remnants of the surviving production facilities, united in the state concern “Ukroboronprom,” are still fluttering and even from time to time present some new products, experimental developments and samples, the state does not have the money to order mass production of these samples. The Ukrainian military-industrial complex will not be able to return to the level of the Ukrainian SSR. And not even because of the destruction of production, the degradation of technology and the elimination of cooperation chains. And first of all, because such a return makes no sense. In today's Ukraine, the Soviet military-industrial complex is simply of no use. Ukrainian goal-setting in the field of defense is based on the fact that NATO will supply everything the country needs, including military equipment. The main thing is to transfer the army to NATO standards and train soldiers to shoot from NATO weapons. In this sense, Ukraine is not much different from Estonia or, say, the Czech Republic. What kind of military-industrial complex does the Czech Republic have? Same thing.

How will ordinary Ukrainians react to the prospect of the country being militarized and drawn into a world war against Russia? The number of people who approve of joining the militaristic NATO bloc is growing...

How they explain it is how they will react. You understand that a person is weak and will believe in anything. Especially if they talk about it “from every iron.” And I am sure that if something happens, competent specialists will explain, and they will try to cut off incorrect opinions from the audience.

Turchinov is trying to act as the main supporter of an active military confrontation with Russia, says Dmitry Galkin, a political observer for the 2000 newspaper.

Most likely, this is due to the fact that he is thinking about an independent political career and is now looking for a suitable electoral niche. But perhaps he wants to strengthen the importance of the National Security and Defense Council and increase his influence on the political situation in the country. Therefore, he will continue to come up with projects that are now semi-fantastic in nature, but could, to one degree or another, become reality if one of the representatives of the right-wing Republicans, Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz, comes to power in the United States.

It should be noted that Turchynov, judging by rumors, is guided by the position of the conservative wing of the Republican Party. True, the United States does not need to strengthen Ukrainian military power to solve its foreign policy problems. On the contrary, it is much more profitable for them to present Ukraine as a weak and defenseless country that faces a mortal threat from Russia. This makes it possible to justify the increase in the American military presence in Eastern Europe and the sharp strengthening of NATO's role in the European security system.

Can the Americans help Ukraine restore its military potential?

Conservative Republicans may begin to arm Ukraine (Clinton and Trump certainly will not do this) in order to provoke the Russian leadership into retaliatory actions (or even a resumption of the Donbass conflict). This will make it possible to present Russia as a dangerous adversary of the Western world, against which it is necessary to unite and arm. In this case, Ukraine will certainly be helped to establish the production of high-tech weapons (including modern missiles). Although it will no longer be possible to restore a significant part of the defense enterprises that existed during the Ukrainian SSR. However, no one is going to set such a task."

Lieutenant Colonel of the National Guard Alexander Boyko, who was declared captured, was in fact abandoned by his comrades on the battlefield and, apparently, died from his wounds.

At least, that’s what they think in the military prosecutor’s office of the ATO forces, which is investigating criminal proceedings into the incident.

“Attempts to resolve the issue of the exchange and transfer of Alexander Boyko today did not lead to positive results. The National Guard command continues to work in this direction,” the message said.

The sortie, which was the last for Lieutenant Colonel Boyko, took place on June 3. A group of five people, commanded by Boyko, went to territory controlled by LPR forces in the vicinity of the city of Pervomaisk. In the area of the railway, the fighters came under fire, during which Boyko, according to investigators, was wounded and abandoned by his comrades, which is why he later died. Now Boyko’s colleagues are suspected under Art. 365 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or official position).

It is interesting that already in the first petition dated June 16, Boyko’s death is stated quite definitely, i.e. the military prosecutor's office had some compelling reasons to believe that Boyko had already died by that time. In this situation, the equally definite message from the leadership of the National Guard that Boyko is alive and in captivity looks somewhat strange - or, on the contrary, the statements of the military prosecutor’s office are strange.

IMPORTANT: A terrorist attack was prevented in Lugansk (PHOTO)

LPR law enforcement officers stopped an attempt by suspicious persons to plant an unknown device near a high-pressure gas pipe in a residential sector in Lugansk.

This was announced at the scene by the official representative of the People's Militia of the Republic, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko.

“Today we received a signal that in the city of Lugansk on Chelyuskintsev Street (house 12) there are suspicious people who are trying to place something under a high-pressure gas pipe near a residential building,” said a representative of the defense department.

“Operational services worked with lightning speed. The persons who tried to carry out the alleged planting fled the scene,” he said.

“In this way, the operational services prevented, possibly, another terrorist attack in Lugansk,” the lieutenant colonel believes.

Eyewitnesses told PERSONS that several young men tried to plant the bomb, but they hastily disappeared when they noticed law enforcement officers approaching the scene.

Local residents also reported that a few hours earlier, unknown persons had painted the flag of Ukraine on the wall of the same house.

Let us remind you that two terrorist attacks were carried out on July 7 in the center of Lugansk in the area of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War Square. stuffed into a trash can at the entrance to a grocery store, a woman was killed and five people were injured.

3 years “Tag”

An excellent video for the 3rd anniversary of the creation of the international brigade "Fifteen".

Plus a video for the 3rd anniversary (July 5 marked 3 years - Chervonets has a selection of old materials on the occasion) of the retreat of the militia from the Slavic-Kramatorsk agglomeration.

As subsequent events showed, this retreat ultimately made it possible to hold Donetsk and played an important role in organizing the first cauldron of the war in Donbass.
On the other hand, the victorious summer campaign of 2014 for the militia did not lead to a decision on the fate of Donbass, just like the successful winter campaign of 2015.
The war has entered the positional phase, with its daily bloody routine
But the Slavic epic still reminds us of the torment in which the Donetsk People’s Republic was born through the labors of those people who took up arms in the spring and summer of 2014.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have violated the ceasefire six times. The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko, spoke about this

“The positions of our units in the area of the settlements of Smeloe, Zhelobok, Kalinovo and Pervomaisk came under fire. During the shelling, the Ukrainian Armed Forces used 120 and 82 mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, various types of grenade launchers and small arms,” Marochko said.

“In total, 45 mines and grenades were fired across the territory of the Republic,” the lieutenant colonel said.

“There is no grain truce, shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has become more frequent” - DPR authorities

The head of the Sakhan administration, Igor Podgorny, spoke about the continuous shelling from Ukraine in the south of the DPR, writes.

According to him, there is no “grain truce”; the Ukrainian Armed Forces are deliberately hitting gas communications, igniting them and using them as a kind of beacon.

“The situation is not easy, the so-called grain truce does not exist, because shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces has become more frequent. They began to fire slyly. There are even cases of gas systems being breached. We already had a hole in the gas network - the torch was about a meter long. And they use it as a beacon to see where to shoot,” Podgorny said.

He also added that about two weeks ago gas from Ukraine was cut off at Kominternovo. This political issue has not yet been resolved. And in other settlements of Donbass there is gas. Bread and various products are also regularly delivered to villages.

Ukrainian security forces violated the ceasefire 32 times over the past 24 hours. He writes about this with reference to the operational command of the DPR.

“Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire 32 times. Areas of 14 settlements of the Republic were subjected to shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” they noted.

According to a command representative, enemy units used tank guns, mortars, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, grenade launchers and small arms.

Information about casualties and damage is being clarified.
